Jaquanna Elliot

Jaquanna Elliot was born in Dubbo NSW and grew up in South Australia. Her identity was kept from her until as an adult she met her natural mother who told her of her tribe, the Dunghutti ‘river people’ in Kempsey NSW. Through her life Jaquanna has resided in four states and now lives in Townsville where she took up painting and sculpture in 1999. She practices in a number of different art media.
